Over the lat 2 weeks i have been to the pop up business school in Croydon !!! i cant believe the energy! it has been a fantastic journey and i have re-found myself and a load of new people (which i love doing!!) 

Focusing on my main trade again which is Hairdressing i am going to build a brilliant business in the new year with a whole new perspective and direction! 

New big thing are coming for Flix Therapy!! 

I am looking into building an app that you can just order services directly to your door from a team i am personally picking and training to high industry standards! using my qualifications and knowledge to interview and hire the best then get companies to come in and keep training up my stylists so they are always on trend!

The salons on the south east are gonna have to brace themselves because im coming thick and fast!!

it has been such a busy year for me and finding out what is next! 

this week and next week i am at the pop up business school in Croydon... it has really made me realise that i need to streamline my business... you know that saying jack of all trades master of none. 
​i have really been stretching myself this year trying to really do a lot and really have just realised even though that its great to have a broader knowledge of my industry i really need to focus on 1 section to master it. 

the most basic thought of this is to do the hairdressing as i have been doing it for 9 years now, and i do really love it, the rest of the services i offer will be reduced or completely removed. 

I will still have equipment in Gel Polish, Make Up, Photography. but will not be promoting these services as much and will be using them to enhance the hairdressing services i provide.

OPI services will be offered in conjunction with hair colouring services.   
Make Up and photography will be used to create really professional looking pictures for my website and Facebook pages.
Face-painting will become more of a hobbies  

i am really looking forward to taking it back to the basics and doing what i love for the people who want it :)  

In late november i went on a course with Wella on darkening and bayalage,

it was very enlightening on different techniques on application, and products used and i learnt ao much :-)

its so nice to be up in london on training courses learning alot that i can bring bavk to my clients to give them the best possible services :-)

My most recent trainkng day course was the OPI course Blow Ltd sent me on to use with my brand new OPI Pro spa and Gel kit :-)

We spent the morning learning about the producta all the ingredients and how to properly use them, after lunch we worked in pairs and we trained in luxury signiture Manicure and Pedicures with a lovely hand and foot massage thrown in there ... oh it was nice to be on the receiving end!

And also OPI Gel Manicure and Pedicure we had to do french and red polish to be checked over to make sure it was up to their standerds :-)

(We also have a play around with their brand new Chrome kits on pallettes at the end which was absolutley great aswell :-)

As soon as I got home I applied the gels onto myself and they just feel brilliant!!

The amount of technology that goes into products is crazy! And you don't realise it until you go on courses like these and find out :-)

I found a product that is like olaplex but for the nails!! And strong products to fight thin brittle nails and to make them strong but still have a great manicure!! It's wonderful!

We even got a little pin badge to show we are OPI Pro :-) that was nice!!

SOOOO.... as you all know I have been giving my business a facelift!! just in time to start my new journey of doing Make Up!! I have new lights, shelves, mag rack, certificate frames... just to make it all look great and more practical for me... I can say I am really happy with how its all turning out!! and I have 2 weeks till I get to venture on my new journey doing make up!! .... I am counting 2 weeks because that's when Maelle is launching and I get sent the kit!! WOOOOO

And then 2 weeks after that I go on a 3 day Make Up course at the London School of Make UP!! (even though I am qualified in make up Its better to actually go on a course specified to make up rather then a beauty course with make up in it)  I actually cant believe I am doing all this!

Also I haven't told a massive amount of people but I am now Coltsford Mills new supplier for Hair and Make UP!!! so starting early next year they will be recommending me to the people that are going to get wed there!! YAY a lot more weddings on the card for me!!

I am also broadening my horizons by having booking in wedding fayres in the next couple of months to get my foot in the door at other venues!!

So here is actually what I need from all my clients..... I need to do at least 1 make up every single day! whether its going out make up / day make up/ event make up.... with every hair cut/colour/ style I am going to offer for me to do your make up for free of course... this will be until the end of the year so all them Christmas parties, work do, school fate, evenings out I want and need you ALL to help me qualify and gain enough experience so I have the confidence to go out there and do someones make up for the most important day of their life...

I know many of my clients that have gel nails so I have decided to take a course in them so I can do them while your colour is developing and also they will be nice and easy to do when my baby boy comes as they do not take long!!

I will be taking bookings from 22/1/2015 for the Gel Nails at my home only as I will have even more equipment that will be hard for me to carry around being heavily pregnant!!

As a starter promotion I will be charging £20 for regular Gel Polish
and £25 for Gel Extensions for 2 weeks.

on the 4th February the prices will go up to £25 for Gel Polish and £30 for Extensions.
